7 Months!

Miss Elle is 7 months old. She is getting two teeth and likes to show them off. She's not quite crawling yet but she getting close. She loves to sit up and play with all her toys (especially mommy's phone cover). She's very chatty and loves to hear herself talk. She trying more foods, but bananas are still her favorite. She loves to hang out with all of her grandmas too. We love this babe to pieces!

First Mother's Day

Today was my first mother's day. Elle was nice enough to sleep through the night.  I cooked brunch in the morning for my mom, Ryan, dad, brother and aunt Norma. Elle sat in her jumper and was busy chatting the whole time. Ryan cleaned up everything :) I am so happy to be a mom and have Elle in our life. She is the best thing that has ever happened to us.

Elle's First Tooth!

After weeks of swearing Elle was just a day away from cutting a tooth it's finally here! Yes... it's a small little sliver of a tooth but it's a tooth. I know it's just the beginning...

Havasu for Easter

Last week we spend a few days in Lake Havasu for Easter. While it was gloomy and rainy back home it was a beautiful 90 degrees at the lake. We flew out there and Elle did great on the plane. She slept most of the time. When I was packing for the trip I realized that she had 5 bathing suits in size 9 months alone! I brought all of them and we did a few outfit changes (I have to try to get at least one wear out of each of them.) We spend some time lounging by the pool and we also went out on the boat. I wouldn't say Elle "loved" the water. I think she will need a little more time getting use to it. We're going to take some swim lessons this summer so she can get some more practice.
