Water Baby

We spent the weekend in Newport to celebrate some friends' birthdays. The forecast called for rain on Sunday so we spend as much time as we could outside on Saturday. We went for a long walk/run along the boardwalk, stopped by the fish market, picked up a new bathing suit for Elle at Jack's, ate lunch at A's Market, got a treat at French's Bakery and spend some time at the beach. It was cool so we mostly went so Elle could play in the sand. When Ryan took her to put her feet in the water she ran right in, sweatshirt and all. We let her play in the water for a few minutes and she was having a blast. I have a feeling we will be spending a lot of time in the water this summer.

Lots of beautiful weather means lots of time outside. Elle loves the water! I also had to add in a shot of my wallpaper on my computer. That face! I can't get enough.

Elle's first trip to Palm Desert

We had a wonderful time in Palm Desert this weekend with some great friends. The boys golfed while the girls went shopping. We took advantage of the beautiful weather and spent most of our day outside. Elle loved swimming in her spa with her friend Sofia. She loved running around the golf course and even found a pink golf ball she wouldn't put down. We can't wait to do it again!

I know this blog has been "collecting cobwebs" as my aunt has said. I'm blaming it on our horrible internet service from Time Warner (which we have since ditched) and maybe a little time spend chasing a toddler around. Anyways, here is a look at our Valentine's Day.
